Tyson asked me to marry him last Saturday, December 29th. It was a total and wonderful surprise to me. We are sooooo excited and very close to confirming a date. Stay tuned...

He proposed while we were out hiking at one of our favorite spots, Umstead Park. It was just perfect. He had the ring in a box in his backpack. I was speechless for a second, then I cried and said "yes!" That night he took us out to a wonderful dinner to celebrate.
